The women pleaded not guilty to solicitation, a third-degree misdemeanor, Nov. 14, according to court documents. Their trial date is set for 2 p.m. Jan. 4 in Medina Municipal Court.

Brunswick police were assisted by the Department of Homeland Security and the Medina County Sheriff.

“When we get a complaint, we’re going to investigate it,” Safran said.

“When we get more than one complaint, that’s what led to this investigation. These things come up from time to time especially with massage parlors.”

The parlor remains open and is being operated by other employees, Safran said.

A message left at the parlor by seeking comment was not returned Thursday.

Records do not show any previous charges against the women in Medina Municipal Court or Medina County Common Pleas Court.
