A 59-year-old Litchfield Township man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting last year in Cleveland remains at large, police said Thursday.

Cleveland police issued a warrant Monday for Charles A. Miller, of the 3800 block of Avon Lake Road, charging him with aggravated murder, a first-degree felony.

According to a police report, Miller is accused of fatally shooting 29-year-old Timothy Settles of Cleveland on the afternoon of Oct. 27 in a parking lot at the Steelyard Commons shopping center in Cleveland.

In what police said they believe is a drug-related incident, Miller reportedly approached a Chevy Equinox, stuck his gun inside the driver’s side window and shot Settles in the head. A police spokesperson said Miller was driving blue Mercury Marquis.

Miller has a criminal history in Medina County that includes possession of drugs, having weapons under disability, theft and breaking and entering.
