MEDINA — A 21-year-old Parma man was charged with possessing weapons while under disability and carrying a concealed weapon Tuesday by the Medina police.
Medina officers went to the 300 block of West Union Street after a man reportedly pointed a gun at another man.
However, the suspect drove away in a red vehicle before officers arrived, according to a news release. A short time later, a patrol officer located suspected vehicle on North Court Street where Dominic Crisafi was taken into custody.
A handgun, ammunition, narcotics and drug paraphernalia were seized from Crisafi’s vehicle.
Crisafi was booked into the Medina County Jail on the charges of possession of weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony, and carrying a concealed weapon, a fourth-degree felony. A video arraignment is set for 10:30 a.m. today in Medina Municipal Court.
Additional charges will be presented to a Medina County grand jury for consideration.
He also is under indictment by a Medina County grand jury for drug trafficking in a separate case.
