MEDINA — No arrests have been made following the discovery of a hidden camera in a Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital restroom last month.
Police Chief Edward Kinney said in a Wednesday email that the case remains under investigation.
He said the camera was a “phone charger plug camera.”
Police said it’s unclear how long the miniature spy camera was inside the bathroom.
“We put an employee on administrative leave after a camera was found in a staff-only area. Employees in that area were notified, and we are fully supporting the Medina Police Department in its investigation,” the Clinic said in a statement.
According to an April 14 police report, the offense — voyeurism — is a first-degree misdemeanor. The police report did not list a suspect.
