Two people were taken to area hospitals following a rollover crash Tuesday afternoon in Medina.
A woman driving a Subaru Outback missed a stop sign at the intersection of Hillview Way and North Huntington Street in Medina, striking a northbound Kia Sorento before her vehicle overturned on its roof shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
“The driver of the green Subaru was unaware there was a stop sign there. She did not stop at the stop sign,” police Sgt. Sara Lynn said.
The Subaru was traveling east on Hillview when it struck the Sorento, she said. The driver of the Subaru was transported to an area hospital by ambulance. The man driving the Kia was taken to an unknown hospital by family members. Further details were not immediately available.
