Shirley Anne (Crouch) (Loescher) Thielo, 72, formerly of Wadsworth, more recently of Brunswick, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 28, 2008.
She was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Ava, Ohio, to Clestus and Faye Marks. Mrs. Thielo was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Canton. She retired from the J.M. Smucker Co. after 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Markâ€™s Episcopal Church for 40 years. Mrs. Thielo was an avid golfer. She was a longtime member of a Monday night golf league and scored a hole-in-one at Ridge Top Golf Course.
Mrs. Thielo is survived by her husband, the Rev. Paul Thielo; children, Robert L. (Pam) Crouch Jr. of Wadsworth, and David A. (Mary Lynn Janovec) Crouch and Susan A. (Richard) Thornberg, both of northern Virginia; granddaughters, Emma A. and Molly R. Thornberg; sisters, Geraldine Dunlap and Sandra Hylton; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, stepchildren, stepgrandchildren and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert L. Crouch Sr.; and second husband, Victor Loescher.
Service: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Markâ€™s Episcopal Church, 146 College St., Wadsworth. Bishop David C. Bowman will officiate.
Interment: Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visiting hours 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth.
