Elyria husband, father, caregiver leaves Cleveland on the way to deportation to Mexico (VIDEO)

Pedro Hernandez-Ramirez has departed for Mexico.

The Elyria resident went to Hopkins International Airport today for his deportation. He took off for Detroit, where he will fly into Mexico City.

Hernandez-Ramirez was compliant with ICE requirements, with a valid work permit, an approved visa petition and regularly paying federal and state taxes. He is also married to an American citizen, is the primary caregiver to his 28-year-old severely disabled stepson, Juan Pino, and is the father to 9-year-old Luis-Angel, an American citizen.
