SPENCER — The Medina County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding the theft of an unknown sum of money from Farmers Savings Bank, 111 W. Main St., Spencer, according to a social media post from the agency.
According to information from the Sheriff’s Office, a male entered the bank at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday.
He then left with cash from the bank, but the post did not provide details on his interactions with bank employees.
The incident is being investigated as a cash scam and not a bank robbery.
