WADSWORTH — Wadsworth City Council unanimously approved Tuesday an ordinance allowing the city to advertise for bids for its 2019 street improvement program .
“Now that we have approval we are going to look at putting a bid book together with all the final quantities so we can give as much accurate information to the contractors,” said Public Service Director Robert Patrick after the Council meeting.
Patrick said the city would like to have the projects completed by summer to avoid any potential fall weather issues.
The city expects to use three or four different contractors to complete the projects, Patrick said.
