Tomas Paul Davenport, 52, of Naples, Florida, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017. He was born November 4, 1964 in Lodi, to Tom and Mary (Walkden) Davenport.
He was raised in Spencer and attended Spencer First Baptist Church. He graduated from Open Door Christian High School in 1983. After graduating from Ohio State University, he moved to Naples, Florida to work for Club Pelican Bay where he met his wife, Sue (Lippold) Davenport. He spent the last 18 years working as a golf sales rep for Site One Landscaping Company.
Tom was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was a proud graduate and avid fan of Ohio State University. He followed OSU football and attended many games with friends. He had the ability to tell a story and fill an entire room with laughter. He will forever be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Sue (nee Lippold) Davenport; brother, Jeff (Melinda) Davenport; sister, Amy (Steven) Carlson; mother, Mary Davenport of Wooster; mother-in-law, Barb Lippold of Naples, Florida; loving nieces and nephews and numerous family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Davenport of Spencer and father-in-law, Wayne Lippold.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 4 P.M., at First Baptist Church, 302 W. Main St., Spencer. A funeral service will be held in Naples, Florida at a later date.
