Richard Lee Howell, 68, of Burbank, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Louis Stokes Veteran Hospital in Cleveland.
He was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970. He was a skilled carpenter and pattern maker. He was a member of the Creston Local Moose Lodge #1224. He was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Rick was loved and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his partner, Virginia Packard; son, Jason Howell; daughters, Christal (Aaron) Bruckler, Shelli (John) Spies and children; mother, Lillian Howell; brother, Joseph Howell, Jr.; sister, Vicki (Donnie) Rouse; grandsons, Aiden and Hunter Bruckler and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Pyle; sister, Shirley French and son-in-law, Chuck Bean.
At his request, a private graveside service will be held at the Western Reserve Military Cemetery in Rittman. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date.
