Maxine G. Starcher, 84, of Seville, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, at West View Healthy Living in Wooster, Ohio. Maxine was born April 5, 1933, to James and Faye (Metheney) Eagle in Duck, West Virginia.
She grew up working on the family farm. She married Roscoe Starcher November 29, 1950 and was a devoted wife for more than 63 years. After they moved to Ohio in the winter of 1950, Maxine worked for the Nabisco Brands Company in Seville, until her retirement. She enjoyed serving her family and her church.
Maxine was a founding member of the Advent Christian Church of Seville, where she served in many capacities. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Maxine is survived by her daughter, Norma (Gary) Fath of West Salem; grandchildren, Amy (Ronald) Hamilton of Seville, Kelly (Jordan) Beebe of New Philadelphia, Kevin (Linnae) Fath of Takoma Park, Maryland, Becky (Daniel) Miller of Wooster; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Noah and Roscoe Hamilton and Adalyn, Brooklyn and Camdyn Beebe and sisters-in-law, Hilda Douglas of Wadsworth and Nell Starcher of Creston.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe; parents, James and Faye and brother, Calvin.
Family and friends may call at Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main Street, Creston, one hour prior to the services Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Services will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at 2 P.M., at Murray Funeral Home, with John Murray officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Seville.
