Bonnie F. Tolliver

Bonnie F. Tolliver, 77, of Sterling, died Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Akron City Hospital following a brief illness. She was born March 7, 1940 in Widen, West Virginia, to the late Dale and Nellie (Frame) Harris and lived most of her life in Sterling and Wadsworth.

Bonnie married William R. Tolliver on April 9, 1961 and she dedicated her life to caring for her husband and children. He preceded her in death in 2015. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, quilting, crafts, gardening and going to garage sales with her late husband.

Surviving are sons, Mitchel Tolliver of Sterling, Brian (Lori) Tolliver of Wadsworth and Wade (Nancy) Tolliver of Lorain; grandchildren, Daniel (Adriane) Tolliver of Medina, Rachel (Austin) Sashko of North Olmsted, Mike Tolliver of Wadsworth, Ashley (Mark) Tolliver of Wakeman, Jessi (Brent) Keener of Rittman, Wade (Meagan) Tolliver of Lorain and Nikki (Justin) Newberry of Wooster; great-grandchildren, Harleigh, Jocelyn, Hazel, Orion, Vera and Bryson; son-in-law, Tim Newberry of Rittman; sisters, Pearl Phillips and Elsie Pifer, both of West Virginia and half-brother, James (Rosemary) Harris of West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Tolliver; daughter, Gayle Tolliver; grandson, Andy Tolliver; brothers, Lloyd and Jessie Harris and sister, Florence Long.

Services will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, with Pastor Travis McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 12:45 P.M. Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M., Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Thursday.
