Hazel M. Kramer, 94, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 5, 2017 at her home. She was born September 18, 1923 in Sharon Center, to Vern and Miriam (nee) Kaufman Ream.
She was a member of Mount Zwingli United Church of Christ, where she developed a true love and dedication to her church family. She served on the Sharon Trust for many years. She was especially proud of her affiliation with the Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital Auxiliary, on which she served for 23 years.
After having managed Kramer's Flower Shop for six years, she transitioned her talents to serve the Wadsworth community as a dental assistant, working with Dr. David Wearstler for over 28 years. Hazel always had a cheerful disposition and was grateful for every day of her life.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ivan Acker (killed in WWII); son, Larry and husband, Elmer to whom she was married 42 years; brothers, Kenneth (Ruth) Charles (Thelma) and sister, Kathryn Pursley.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Gregory (Linda); sister, Marjorie Raw; granddaughters, Amy Broghammer and Dr. Elizabeth Pratt and great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Madelyn Tobias and William.
Memorial service will be held at Mount Zwingli UCC, 2172 Medina Line Road, Wadsworth, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11 A.M.
