Michaelene "Mickey" Sarver, of Wadsworth, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 after battling ovarian cancer. She was born in Barberton, on August 22, 1943, to the late Michael and Catherine Goda.
She will be remembered for being kindhearted, caring, giving and compassionate; she truly never met a stranger. She loved a clean house and enjoyed preparing dinner for her loved ones, during which family was of the utmost importance. She also enjoyed tending her own vegetable garden. She was known as a supporter, "our loudest cheerleader," showing up to every game and performance, may it be soccer or band. Her love and support extended greatly to the grandchildren she spoiled and viewed as the "apples of her eye."
She is survived by her son, Jeff and daughter, Jodi; granddaughter, Chloe; grandson, Denny, as well as many friends and relatives.
Family will receive friends Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6 to 8 P.M. and Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 11 A.M. until the time of a memorial service at 1 P.M. at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Interment will immediately follow at Clinton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Magnolia by Sanctuary Health Network, 365 Johnson Road, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
