Marcus Glenn Sisson, 87, devoted and loving husband and father, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017. He was born July 25, 1930 in Blue Ridge, Georgia to Mark and "Kitty" (Mull) Sisson.
Marcus was an Air Force Veteran, a 30 year plus long-distance truck driver and 22 year instructor for Hamrick Truck Driving School. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 385 and American Legion #0170.
Marcus leaves his wife of 62 years, Maryann (Strnad); daughter, Laurie and her husband, Mike Ash; son, Ronald; grandsons, J'aime Huret, Aaron Huret, Tom Eames and wife, Mary, Tim Eames and wife, Diana; granddaughter, Joleane Gerrick; sister, Blanche White; brother, Cecil and his wife, Kathren; sister-in-law, Hazel Silvestro; 10 great-grandchildren and special friends, Cindy Welland, Donna and Art Brooks, Brenda Cholack, Barney, Walt, Tom, Big Bob and Wadsworth Senior Center Euchre Friends.
Special thank you to Life Care Hospice of Wooster for the wonderful care Marcus received and Dr. E. Maseelall and his staff for their special attention.
Memorial service with Military Honors will be Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 12 P.M., at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St., Wadsworth with The Reverend Sybil Thomas officiating. Calling hours will be Friday, December 1, 2017 from 5:30 to 8 P.M. and Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M., prior to the service.
