Paul Francis Tucker

Paul proudly served our Country in the U.S. Army. He greatly enjoyed spending time outdoors, where he loved Lake Erie boating, camping and spending great family time at our Chippewa lake house. He also enjoyed teaching youth about nature and the joy of flying as the Leader of Air Scouts. Paul found pleasure in working with his hands, using the gifts that God gave him to create artwork through his painting and woodworking.

As a teenager, Paul began working at High Office Supplies in Medina, where he eventually purchased the business and ran it for many years along with his family. They also ran the Music Market, Happy Days Restaurant, Mary's Victorian Tea Room and concession stands at the Medina County Fair through the years. Paul also founded the Medina Town Square Post Newspaper. He was a member of the Medina Kiwanis Club for 35 years, where he served as President and received the Hickson award and was inducted into the Kiwanis Hall of Fame.

He was a founding member of Harvest Presbyterian Church, where he served faithfully in the choir for many years, was a teacher and served as an Elder for more than 20 years.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary (Simmons) Tucker; children, Kim (Jim) Pettay, Jen (Rob) Root and grandchildren, Alex, Isabelle, Austin, Mason and Ethan.

Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Ray and Bob Tucker.

A memorial service will be held for Paul at 11 A.M. on Saturday, January 21, 2018 at Harvest Presbyterian Church, luncheon to follow. A private interment service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
