Edgell I. England, 90, of Medina, took his final journey home to the Lord on Friday, January 19, 2018. He was born on December 20, 1927 to the late Edgell L. England and Ruth (Isles) England Ott.
Edgell served his country proudly and was in the U.S. Navy on the USS Maddox during World War II. He was a 3rd and 4th Degree member and faithful Navigator of the Knights of Columbus and a lifetime member of the VFW, Medina Post #5137.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dolores (Cecil) England; beloved daughter, Patricia (Andrew) Sabol; dear grandchildren, Victoria (Jay) Culver and Kevin Sabol; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Owen and Ava Culver; his sister, Mary Ann Trask and his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Bella DeBold.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Rd., Valley City. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
