Dale A. Kutz, 69, of Litchfield, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born on July 5, 1948 in Cleveland to the late Richard and Carol (nee Kilgus) Kutz.
Dale was an art teacher for Brunswick City Schools, where he helped mold young minds and instill creativity in kids for 30 years. He was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for Litchfield Fire Department and was a member of the Art Critique Group at Kent State University.
He enjoyed going to the theater, all Cleveland sports, fishing and history, especially the Civil War, but he will be remembered most for the time he adored spending with his family. Dale was an active and loved member of his community and the community in which he taught and will be deeply missed by the many who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Connie of 47 years; his children, Brandon (Maureen) Kutz, Joshua (Christa) Kutz and Sarah Kipp; his grandchildren, Alex, Nick, Luke, Paul, Lindsay, Xavier, Maryn and Mallory; his siblings, Deanne Cook and Dean (Regina) Kutz and many extended family members and friends.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. A service will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Inurement will follow at Litchfield Cemetery, Litchfield.
