Kenneth William Hotz, Sr., 83, of Jupiter, Florida and Medina, entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, January 25, 2018. He was born September 24, 1934 in Cleveland, to William and Helen (nee Gasper) Hotz.
Kenneth was an extremely devoted family man to his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also a loving and caring man to all people in his local church and community.
He enjoyed working in his yard, woodworking and carpentry projects, cooking and especially spending time in the Florida sunshine with his wife. He loved dogs, the bigger the better and was a proud "daddy" and "grandpa" to several St. Bernards.
Ken was a dedicated Christian and served in many capacities in the church over his life. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle, honest man. He would hope that all attendees at his service would commit their cares and concerns to the Lord and would want his family and friends to keep faith, persevere and move forward from this day.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Norma (nee Krans); children, Kimberly (Dwayne) Soboslai, Wendy (Tom) Nelson, Kenneth Jr. and Timothy (Margaret); grandchildren, Amy, Katie (Matt), Shandra (Ethan), Sam (Camille), Hannah, Rebecca (Nick), Tommy, Rachel, Hunter, Joshua, Zachery and Garett; great-grandchildren, Hope, Max and Erica and brother, William (Patricia) Hotz.
Friends may join the family for visitation Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M., at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina. A private interment will take place at Poe Cemetery in Medina.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenneth's name to the Hospice of Palm Beach County (online at hospiceofpalmbeachcounty.com) or to a favorite charity of your choice.
