Robert H. Doran, 82, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018. He was born on November 27, 1935 in Cleveland, to the late James and Lulu (nee Brockway) Doran.
Robert was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and later went on to work for Wolf Envelope. He enjoyed golfing, dancing and playing Bingo, as well as cheering on the Cleveland Indians and tinkering with computers, but will be remembered most for the time he enjoyed spending with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Diana Doran and Shelley (Jerry) Mitchell; his grandchildren, Matthew Mitchell and Kayleen Mitchell (Troy Kozub); his great-granddaughter, Isabella Mitchell; his siblings, Frank Cronin, Ronald (Janice) Doran, Judith Funk-Bailey and Edna May Haywood and his brother-in-law, Charles Clough and many extended family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy and many extended family members.
Friends may call Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. A service will be held at the funeral home, at 11 A.M. Friday, February 2, 2018. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
