Robert E. Lloyd, 50, of Seville, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family Tuesday, January 30, 2018 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Bob was born December 3, 1967 in Wadsworth, to Joseph and Betty (Collins) Lloyd and was a 1986 graduate of Cloverleaf High School.
He married the former Karen Shella on August 31, 1991 and she survives. He had owned and operated Rancher Trucking in Seville and had made his home on the family farm all of his life. He was a proud member of the National Pole Bending Association and was a part of the Barrel Racing Community. His passion was always farming and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Karen; his four children, Brody, Brock, Brennen and Jozie, all of the home; his parents of Seville; brothers, Dan Lloyd of Seville and Ed (Fonda) Lloyd of Houston, Texas; special nephew and niece, Danny Lloyd of Wooster and Emily (Andrew) Schmidt of Apple Creek and a host of family and friends.
A celebration gathering will be Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 2 to 6 P.M. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Medina, 696 Lafayette Rd., Medina.
The family extends a special thanks to Dana, Kelly, Mackenzie, Alex, Mark and to all who helped through Bob's illness. You will always be remembered and loved by the Lloyd Family.
