Florence D. Gulling, 94, of Medina, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. She was born in Louisville, Ohio, on August 3, 1923, to the late Frank and Anne (Miday) Grisez.
Florence graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in Canton, Ohio in 1944. She married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth in 1946. While raising seven children, she worked as an RN in obstetrics, emergency room and in the industrial setting. Florence was a member of Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Medina.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Kenneth in 2017.
She is survived by her seven children: daughter, Jackie Gulling; son, Mike (Kathy) Gulling; daughters, Patty (Dr. Terry) Wade and Chris (Rick) Foote; son, Jeff (Barb) Gulling; daughter, Vicki (Gene) Sulzener; son, Matt (Mary) Gulling; 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and her brother-in-law, Russ.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 A.M., Friday, February 9, 2018 at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 Old Weymouth Rd., Medina. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M., Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina and one hour prior to Mass on Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
