aniel R. Mack of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of Chatham and Valley City, died peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
He was reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Patricia May of 38 years and his beautiful daughter, Jennifer. Our super Dad and Papa fell asleep with the super blue moon.
Dan attended Orange High School, graduating with the Class of 1949 and was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving from 1954 to 1956, Vice President of Sales at Mueller Art Cover for over 40 years, board member for Buckeye High School, serving as president while his children were students and a volunteer for the Valley City Fire Department. He was an avid golfer, a member of Medina Country Club and founding developer of Weymouth Golf Club in 1969.
Dan was a farmer, just for the fun of it and lived on the "100 acre farm". After work, he loved driving around on his gator taking care of the pheasants, cows, sheep, goats and pigs with his kids and grandkids. He was also one of those crazy Cleveland sports fans and addicted to his homemade peanut butter cookies with milk before bed!
He is survived by his children, Susan (Jerry) and Trinka (John) of Ohio, Lori (Gary) of North Carolina and Daniel R. II of Ohio; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and

He will be missed deeply by all.
