Leona Mae Lutsch, 97, of Lantana, Florida, formerly of Lafayette Township, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. She was born April 5, 1920 to the late Jessie and Letha (Wightman) Bowman.
Leona was very artistic and creative, especially when it came to her passion for ceramics, she opened a ceramic studio, where she was able to use her talents to teach others at the studio. Leona was especially well known for her gift in creating porcelain dolls and she enjoyed the time spent with three different porcelain doll clubs throughout Ohio. She was an active member of the Lafayette Methodist Church and she especially loved spending her time traveling with her loving husband William. Later in life Leona enjoyed her involvement with the Medina Senior Citizens Center.
Leona is survived by her loving children, Marjorie (Paul) Hamlin of Lantana, Florida, Donna (Art) Brooks of Litchfield and Ronald (Cheryl) Lutsch of Wooster; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Leona was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, William Lutsch and brothers, Gene Bowman and Max Bowman.
Private family services for Leona will be held. Interment will be held at Waltz Cemetery in Lafayette Township.
