Juliet Avery Cobb, 87, of Medina, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born July 20, 1930 in Bedford, to the late Clarence "Curly" William and Ester (Avery) Ziska.
Juliet earned her master's degree in Fine Arts at Kent State University and taught art classes in the county's public schools for 33 years before retiring. She was a remarkable artist and she loved miniatures. Juliet created many paintings, drawings, figurines, furniture pieces, doll houses and dioramas.
Juliet is survived by her children, Ty (Cindy) Cobb, Betsy (Rex) Schar, Chris Cobb and Pam (Kent) Ringstmeier; grandchildren, Brad Ringstmeier, Travis Cobb, Tonya Hynick, Christopher Kerr and Marissa Partee and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur "Shorty" Cobb and her grandson, Ryan Ringstmeier.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 7 P.M., Friday, February 16, 2018 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina Co., 5075 Windfall Rd., Medina, OH 44256.
