Rose Ellen "Rosie" Coudret (Spies), 92, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Rosie passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Seville. She was born on February 17, 1926 in York Township, Ohio, to Clair "Casey" Lawrence Spies and Minnie Belle Spies.
Rosie lived a full life and touched the hearts of countless friends and family members. In 1944, Rosie married the love of her life, Albert "Dude" Coudret. She spent her life caring for others, serving in her church and making people look and feel beautiful in her beauty shop. Her quick wit made everyone laugh and her generosity to those in need was unparalleled.
Rosie is survived by her sister, Pat Rogers and brothers, Bud and Ted Spies; children, Judy Devore (deceased Roscoe Devore), Albert "Dude" Coudret (Joanne) and Tracy Tarle (Ray); 11 grandchildren, Billy, Sissy, Matt, Rocky, Rusty, Randy, Jamie, Jodie, Danielle, Dude and Luke; 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her dear parents; loving husband of 52 years; seven siblings, Bob, Jack, Danny, Gerry, Wilma, Peg and Dot and her oldest daughter, Connie Kay Whitzel (Coudret) of Loveland, Colorado was called home to Heaven on July 3, 2017.
She was blessed with so many family, friends and caregivers who loved her and supported her with kindness and compassion.
A visitation will be Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 3 to 7 P.M. at Armstrong Funeral Home, 25 Pleasant St., Seville. A memorial service will take place at Armstrong Funeral Home at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 followed immediately by interment at Mound Hill Cemetery, E. Main St., Seville.
