David A. Honaker "Gremlin", 59, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 6, 2018. Born in Wilmington, Delaware. David was the son of the late Charles F. and Avis L. (Sheehy) Honaker.
He was a graduate of Christiana High School. David was a carpet installer for many years. He was very active with AA and proud to be an AA Consultant helping to counsel those that needed help especially in the prisons.
In his leisure time, David was an avid motorcycle rider and treasured his Harley Davidson. He was a people person who never knew a stranger.
David is survived by his first love and his last love, Mae E. Naylor-Hodgson; sister, Lynette I. Brown (Josh); brothers, C. Ray Honaker (Sally) and John R. Bustard; nephew, Charles Honaker, Sr.; great-nephew, Charles Honaker, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; his son, Jeffrey D. Honaker; daughter, Alexis Honaker; one grandson and one granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy L. Honaker; brother, John W. Honaker and his sister, Carol H. Gibson.
A memorial service will be held during the AA Retreat in Cook Forest State Park in Cooksburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 8, 2018 and Sunday, September 9, 2018. All are welcome to attend.
