Henry Leon Cunningham

Henry Leon Cunningham, 81, of Seville, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. Henry was born November 19, 1936 in Harrisville, West Virginia, to the late Harvey and Mary (Valentine) Cunningham.

Henry graduated from Keystone High School in 1955. Working for Emmons Inc., he went on to become a master plumber and electrician. Henry's knowledge of all facets of construction can be seen throughout the surrounding counties in homes, barns and additions. His strength was legendary. He loved John Deere, Ford Trucks and his Harleys. Henry enjoyed a good cup of coffee and a piece of pie, sometimes several. He also enjoyed reading a good mystery book or western novel. Henry has traveled to 46 of the 50 states. He will be dearly missed.

Henry is survived by his children, Darla Lynn Cunningham, of Seville and Henry (Barbara) Cunningham of Flowery Branch, Georgia; stepgrandson, Tracey Cordy of Oaklyn, New Jersey; sister, Betty (Mac) McFarland of California and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Helen (Wilson) Cunningham; parents; son, Timothy Alan Cunningham; siblings, Archie, Hoyt, Sis, Nora (Muzick), Kay (Hardenburg), Harvey, Calvin Coolidge, Mary (Meadows) and beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Henry will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 11:30 A.M. Irving Ross, Curtis Bauske and Carlton Schooley will officiate. A private family interment will take place at Lagrange Cemetery at a later date.
