Arlene M. Sinko, 86, of Chippewa Lake, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018. She was born in Cleveland, to the late Frank and Eleanor (Kalina) Springer.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. She loved to cook and bake. Arlene retired from National City Bank (formerly Savings Bank & Trust, formerly Chippewa Valley Bank) at age 71 after many decades in the banking industry. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Litchfield. She was instrumental in starting Parents Without Partners in Medina County many years ago.
She is survived by her children, Dan (Jean) Sinko of Parma and Diane (Bryan) Few of Montville Township; grandchildren, Kevin Sinko and Michele (Carl) Harp, David (Rebecca) Few and Chris (Shannon) Few; great-grandchildren, Ollen and Madalyn Sinko, Anna and Lillian Few, Gabriel and lsaiah Few and baby Harp arriving in December and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Raymond Sinko and her sister, Dolores Vasil.
In keeping with Arlene's wishes, there will be no visitation or service at this time and the family will hold a memorial in celebration of her life at a later date.
