Daniel Lee Hoffman, 89, of Burbank, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Medina General Hospital. He was born November 17, 1929 in Pennsylvania, the son of Daniel G. and Clarice Smith Hoffman. He married Irene Rich on June 23, 1956. She survives.
Daniel was a farmer and the owner of Hoffman Automatic Machining and had also worked for Borg Warner. He was a member of the Mohican Sailing Club.
He is survived by, in addition to his wife, are his children, Holly (Scott) Fitzgerald of Avon Lake, Daniel P. Hoffman of Iselin, New Jersey and John D. (Michelle Johnson) Hoffman of Wooster; grandchildren, Morgan Wanner, Colin Fitzgerald, Valorie Hill, Daniel C. Hoffman, Charolotte Stroh and Camron Hoffman; 11 great-grandchildren and a brother, David E. (Sabra) Hoffman of Ashland, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Hoffman.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 6 to 8 P.M. A service of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 6 at 1 P.M. at the funeral home with The Reverend Richard Samide officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
