Kurt Oren Musser, 62, died peacefully at home on January 27, 2019. Kurt was born in 1956 in Oakland, California and grew up in Half Moon Bay, California.
He joined the Merchant Marines in 1977, sailing from Miami thru the Panama Canal to Ecuador and Peru many times. He returned to Half Moon Bay, where he was a manager at Granelli & Cook and later employed as mechanic and tow truck recovery at Curley and Reds.
In 1999, he moved to Medina to join his loving partner, Susan Eichhorn. Kurt was a G.A. Pilot, Airframe and Powerplant mechanic and Authorized Inspector of aircraft. He was employed for 19 years at Flight Options, now Flexjet, as a maintenance controller and fleet integration lead.
Kurt was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Mae Brower of Woodmere, New York and father, Thomas Oren Musser of Mexico City, Mexico.
He is survived by his partner, Susan Eichhorn of Medina; brothers, Rin Mark Musser (Susan) of Alexandria, Virginia and Scott Beauchamp (Michele) of Woodmere, New York.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Weymouth Country Club from 1 to 6 P.M. Interment later in Half Moon Bay.
