Anthony Thomas Hugney, 35, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 11, 2019 in Cleveland. He was born December 29, 1983 in Middleburg Heights.
Anthony attended Buckeye High School and will be fondly remembered as a jack-of-all-trades and an avid Cleveland Sports fan. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed the great outdoors, especially kayaking, camping and fishing.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Thomas and Kerry (nee McKay) Hugney; fiancee, Carolyn Cole; treasured children, Kyton, Levi, A.J., Triston and Aurora Hugney, Cohen Boyd and Kaleb Cole; brothers, Brad Hugney and T.J. and Ali (nee Ulmer) Hugney; grandmothers, Judith McKay and Patricia Hugney and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin McKay, Edward Hugney and Shirley Smith.
Friends and family may call Friday, February 15, 2019 from 3 to 7 P.M. with a service to follow at 7 P.M. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick.
Anthony was able to give the gift of life through organ donation.
