Diana S. McMahon

Diana S. McMahon, 66, of Lodi, passed away peacefully in the arms of her husband, Bob on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at home. Diana was born May 17, 1952 in Lodi, to Max and Jerrie (Haulk) Yergin.

She graduated first from Cloverleaf High School and earned her teaching degree from Bowling Green State University. Diana taught second grade at Lodi Elementary and made a huge impact on her students. She's still remembered by many as their favorite teacher.

Diana loved to watch movies, read (especially Stephen King novels) and fix things around the house. She had a knack for home decorating and loved to do arts and crafts with her nephews and niece. She also enjoyed working with Lodi Good Samaritans and volunteering at Feed My Sheep. She was a member of Lodi United Methodist Church.

She will be deeply missed by Bob, her husband of 35 years; her mother, Jerrie Yergin; sisters, Linda Trares and Julie Yergin; nephews and niece, Ryan (Marci) Trares, Cory Trares and Elizabeth Trares; great-nephew, Anthony Trares; sister-in-law, Peggy McMahon, nephew, Rhys and children; aunt, Patricia Siders and many cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Max; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Marty McMahon and her grandparents.

A special thanks to all of her loving friends and Hospice of Medina County (Denise and Donna) who supported her through her final journey.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. at Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, (330) 948-1122, where visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11:30 A.M. The Reverend Diane Bell will officiate.
