Robert W. Hamad of El Paso, Texas (previously from Seville), passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 after a battle with kidney disease. He was from Ohio and retired to Hinesville, Georgia and recently relocated to El Paso.
He was a retired principal of Cloverleaf Local Schools after 30 years of service to his students. Born July 21,1942 in Cleveland and lived in Warrensville Hts. He attended the University of Akron, where he got his B.S. in Education and Masters in Education. He was a teacher, coach and principal. His life was filled by the love of his students, family and friends. He enjoyed teaching, golfing, fishing and traveling with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jane Hamad, both of Northfield, Ohio; brother, Neil Hamad of Hudson, Ohio; sister-in-law, Brenda Hamad of Parma; in-laws, William and Lois Trier and sister-in-law, Amy C. Trier of Aiken, South Carolina.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Hamad; daughters, Melissa Steiner (Brian, Amanda and Sarah), Melinda McWeeny (James and Jeremy) and Michele Schlick (William Sr., William Jr., Alexandra and Colin); granddaughter, Melani Hastings (Dalton) and great-granddaughter, Scarlett Rose Hastings; brothers, Richard Hamad (Nancy), James Hamad and Jack Hamad (Sharon); brother-in-law, William J. Trier II; sister-in-law, Dianne Buehner (James), as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many good friends.
A private memorial will be held for the family only.
