Dawn Ingraham (nee Porter), 80, formerly of Spencer, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Burbank Parke Healthcare Center. She was born in Cutler, Ohio on November 9, 1938, to Herbert and Marian (Kenney) Porter.
Dawn married the love of her life, Joe Ingraham, at a very young age. They spent 50 beautiful years together raising their family and operating a business in Spencer. Dawn worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a rural mail carrier for 28 years and after retiring worked in the dietary department at Medina General Hospital.
Dawn loved her family. She spent her life caring for her family as they were her number one priority and her grandchildren were the light that put the twinkle in her eyes.
Dawn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe and siblings, Harold, Jim and twin sisters, Joanne and Joyce.
Dawn will be deeply missed by her children, Jo Ann (Edward) Murr, Bryan Ingraham, Laura (James) Kusmik, and Daniel (Alice) Ingraham, all of Spencer; grandchildren, Jessica Murr, Rachel (Adam Imbrogno) Kusmik and Gillian Kusmik; great-grandchildren, Aurora and Ronan Imbrogno and Seth, Luke and Kyle Remaley and sister, Janine Caid.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Parker Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. Spencer. Pastor Mark Teal will officiate. Interment will follow at Spencer Cemetery.
