The Cleveland Cavaliers said in a statement this morning that guard Derrick Rose has resumed treatment for his left ankle injury

Rose will resume rehabilitation at Cleveland Clinic Courts, the Cavs’ practice facility in Independence, but no timetable is set for his return to play.

“This has been a very challenging and difficult time for Derrick,” Cavs General Manager Koby Altman said in the statement. “We will continue to provide him with support and have patience as he re-joins his teammates and works his way back on to the court.”

Rose, who was signed as a free agent in the summer, hasn’t played for the Cavs since Nov. 7, when he sprained his left ankle. He spent some time away from the team tending to what was termed a personal matter, and published reports suggested he was considering retirement.
